Update from CCAI Travel Department

Yesterday Deborah traded emails with another family who will be leaving for Hubei Province on Sunday to meet their new daughter. This family was very happy with the travel arrangement from CCAI and their travel agent (JC Travel, based in San Francisco, CA) We are not sure if our intinerary will place us in the same hotel or on the same flight schedule but the information we received seemed good. This family will fly into Guangzhou, then onto Hong Kong, then Wuhan. AHHH- three flights. But it appeared that they will come home via Guangzhou to the States.

The family will be staying at the White Rose http://www.sinohotel.com/hotel/hotel.html?hid=532 while in Wuhan. It looks very nice. Again, we are not sure if this is where we will be but it seems that most CCAI families stay here while in Wuhan.

We also received our "official" communication from the CCAI Travel Department yesterday. This is the email that alerts us that more information is coming today concerning travel and to start working towards getting ready to pack our bags for China. It was an exciting milestone in our journey.

Tonight we will carefully read through the information and start making "to do" lists, like getting necessary photos taken tomorrow to send to CCAI Travel Department for our visas.
