Photos in the Mail

Remember those grainy photos we posted a couple of weeks ago in the Emily Update post? At that point we had received photos by email attachment through our adoption agency from Emily's orphanage that had been taken, we presume, by Emily's foster family. We received the originals by mail today, so we are excited to see them in a much clearer format. You can view the photos in our Public File Share.

Daniel's parents have joined us a few days early in preparation for our trip to China. Daniel's dad, as you recall, will accompany Deborah, Sydney, and me to China, while Daniel's mom will stay in our house and prepare for our return, keeping the cat and the plants company while we are gone. It was great to share the photos with them right away, live and in person. They are having a ball with Sydney, and Sydney is controlling their every waking moment. We really love being together! And we've also been able to get shopping and work around the house completed in preparation for leaving. We sure are grateful they are here to help us out.
