Emily Update

We just received an email message from our adoption agency, CCAI, providing a little more information about Emily. The email message also included two new photos! We have only received the photos by email, so we don't have the originals (meaning this is as clear as they get!).

The update and photos are from October 11, 2005, give or take a few days. Below is the updated information we received:

• Height: 72 cm; Weight: 8 kg
• Chest Cir: 42 cm; Head Cir: 43 cm
• Foot Length: 11 cm; HepB: negative
• Teeth: 2
• Sitting: Yes; Standing: Yes
• Walking: No; Speaking: Mama
• How long has the child lived in the orphanage? 0 months
• How long has the child been in foster care? 10 months
• Does the child currently reside in the orphanage or foster care? Your child is in foster care.
• Where is your child currently sleeping? She sleeps in a crib by herself.
• Other information: Everything else is normal.

This makes everything even more real. Hang on, Emily, and stay happy - we're coming!
